ST. LOUIS — 51ºÚÁÏ police spiked dozens of cars that were trying to flee after cops broke up an exhibition of dangerous stunt driving just after midnight Saturday.
Police said they spiked between 40 and 50 cars in the 6500 block of Manchester, near Colombo's Café and Tavern on the border of the Clayton-Tamm and Clifton Heights neighborhoods.
No arrests were made.
The incident was reminiscent of a similar occasion May 13, when police also spiked 40 to 50 vehicles after being called to six locations around the area where people were stunt driving.
One juvenile who was in a crash was arrested after turning himself in on that occasion, but no other arrests were made.
