鈥淎lthough my time as superintendent will be relatively short, I have been fortunate to work at the district level for the past 16 years,鈥 Myers wrote in a letter to district families and staff. 鈥淒uring that time, I have worked with an incredible group of school board members and fellow administrators.鈥
Myers joined Fort Zumwalt in 1999 and served in various positions throughout his 25 years at the district. He began as a school psychologist at South Middle School before becoming an assistant principal at West Middle.
In 2005, the district named him principal of South Middle before he moved on to various administrative roles and oversaw special education, health and early childhood services, transportation and more.
