Worthy: Enough already, the real Blues need to show themselves and pull it together
The Utah Mammoth came to town riding a four-game win streak and proceeded to swiftly and firmly present a foot to the collective butts of the Blues in the first period — heck the first eight minutes — Thursday night. That loud THWACK had to echo all the way to Maryland Heights.
Despite that and amid the fourth loss (including one overtime loss) on home ice in five games, the Blues showed that the hockey team we’ve been looking for exists somewhere in there.

A slow start again doomed the Blues during a 7-4 loss to the Mammoth on Thursday night at Enterprise Center.
The Blues fell behind 4-0 in the first period, a hole big enough to withstand a Blues rally in the final 40 minutes against visiting Utah. The loss was the Blues' third one on a four-game home stand, and dropped them to 3-3-1 on the season.
