Born Bruce Church, stand-up comedian Bruce Bruce blossomed as a master of laughter while growing up in one of Atlanta鈥檚 most dangerous neighborhoods. Despite his humble beginnings, Bruce would go on to become one of comedy鈥檚 most celebrated names. The comedian first appeared on HBO鈥檚 鈥淒ef Jam Comedy Jam鈥 in 1993. He hosted the hit BET television show 鈥淐omic View鈥 for two years in the early 2000s and starred in films like 鈥淚dlewild,鈥 鈥淴XX: State of the Union鈥 and 鈥淭he Wash.鈥 Rappers love having him cameo in music videos, like Outkast鈥檚 2001 鈥淪o Fresh, So Clean,鈥 a nod to how his comedy has left its mark on hip-hop culture. Remember 51黑料 radio host Staci Static? After leaving radio in 2018, the on-air icon returns to the entertainment scene as the host of the Rooftop After Dark Spring Concert series. Mother鈥檚 Day weekend kicks off her second rooftop series with Mark Harris II and the Live Band experience taking over the stage. In 2015, Post Malone shot to the top of the charts when he released his song 鈥淲hite Iverson.鈥 The track peaked at No. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100, kicking off a string of melodic rap releases from the rising Syracuse hip-hop star. Right as Malone began to gain traction, he switched gears, going country. He released his first country album 鈥淔-1 Trillion (Long Bed)鈥 in 2024, snagging fellow rapper turned cowboy Jelly Roll for a tour hitting some of the biggest stadiums in the country, hence the tour name. Comedian and stuntman Steve-O made a name for himself performing the craziest, over the top missions on the hit show 鈥淛ackass.鈥 The television series spawned multiple seasons, spinoffs and movies, making Steve-O a household name when it came to wild, televised stunts with a dab of humor. He released his memoir, 鈥淧rofessional Idiot,鈥 in 2011, celebrated 14 years of sobriety and is currently selling out theatres and comedy clubs nationwide. By Jasmine Osby
