A local dispensary chain has failed to pay for more than $60,000 worth of cannabis products, according to a recently filed lawsuit.
Curio Manufacturing, LLC, which makes cannabis-infused gummies, vapes and pre-rolled joints in Maryland Heights, said Heya Missouri Holdings, Inc. and its three dispensary locations owe the supplier money in a suit filed in 51ºÚÁÏ County court April 25.
Curio Manufacturing said that it shipped $61,126 worth of cannabis products to Heya Missouri Holdings’ three locations in St. Charles, St. Ann and Park Hills between last August and January.
The parties agreed that Heya would pay for the products within 30 days of receiving an invoice, but despite multiple demands for payment, Heya has refused to pay Curio, the suit reads.
As a result, Curio said it has suffered more than $25,000 in damages.
