JEFFERSON CITYÌý— Missouri motorists may want to pump the brakes after the state's highway patrol said some of its cruisers are going incognito.Ìý
The Missouri State Highway Patrol announced Friday that some of its patrol vehicles will begin using "ghost graphics," or low-visibility logo markings that make the fact that the vehicle is operated by law enforcement less obvious.Ìý
That, the department said in a Facebook post Friday, will help the "stealth vehicles" monitor "aggressive and dangerous driving."Ìý
"Drive safeÌý— even when you think no one's watching," the Highway Patrol said.
The state's highway patrol officers typically patrol Missouri's interstates and state highways, except within the city of 51ºÚÁÏ.Ìý
