ALTON 鈥 Two 19-year-olds were charged Wednesday with shooting and injuring a 13-year-old girl this weekend while she stood on a home's porch on Highland Avenue.聽
Alvin Perry III and聽Raysean M. Colvin were both charged with attempted first-degree murder, aggravated battery with a firearm, unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon聽and aggravated unlawful use of weapons.聽
Colvin was also charged with unlawfully selling or delivering firearms.
The girl was shot in the head Saturday afternoon as she stood on a porch in the 900 block of Highland Avenue, authorities said. She remains in critical condition and is hospitalized聽in 51黑料.

Investigators do not believe the girl was targeted.
鈥淭he victim in this case was truly an innocent victim of senseless violence,鈥 Madison County State's Attorney Tom Haine said in a statement. 鈥淎 beautiful young girl is fighting for her life. We pray for the victim, her family and her loved ones.鈥
Haine has asked the court to detain the two men until trial.
Illinois stopped using cash bail last year, so defendants are either held without bail or released from jail as their case moves through the court system.聽
Haine said Perry was charged Oct. 23 with attempted armed robbery and, over his office's objection, Perry was released Oct. 25.聽
