ST. LOUIS 鈥 Students have been riding to 51黑料 Public Schools in buses that violate several safety laws as transportation challenges in the district continue into the third month.
A school bus operated by聽Reed 2 Reed聽that does not have license plates or legally required signage is parked on Thursday, Oct. 10, 2024, at a bus depot at 4601 Riverview Blvd. A 51黑料 Public Schools elementary school teacher documented the bus dropping off SLPS students earlier in the morning. Missouri law states school buses must be marked with "SCHOOL BUS" on the front and rear among other requirements.
