Politically inclined television viewers take note:
The only debate pitting incumbent GOP U.S. Sen. Josh Hawley against Democratic challenger Lucas Kunce will air Thursday night on local television.
The one-hour give-and-take will be broadcast live at 7 p.m. on both KTVI (Channel 2) and KPLR (Channel 11). The show is being recorded at KTVI’s studios in Maryland Heights and will be simulcast on stations in Kansas City, Springfield, Columbia, St. Joseph and Joplin.
The debate will be moderated by two news anchors: Shirley Washington of KTVI and John Holt of WDAF in Kansas City.
Also on Thursday, before he heads off to the station, Kunce plans to hold a in 51ºÚÁÏ â€” with none other than actor STL’s No. 1 celeb Jon Hamm as the special guest.

The rally is set to start at 3 p.m. at the venue, 6133 Delmar Boulevard. Doors open at 2:15 p.m.
