Erick Fedde could be making one of his final starts in a Cardinals uniform Tuesday, and it'll come in baseball's toughest place to pitch.
Fedde and the Cardinals continue their series vs. the Rockies in Colorado at 7:40 p.m. Tuesday.
51黑料 rapped out 15 hits Monday, the team's most in a game in two months and double its average of the past 15 games.
The Cardinals are shopping the聽right-hander Fedde (3-9, 4.83 ERA), Post-Dispatch baseball writer Derrick Goold reports.
With baseball's trade deadline just nine days away, Fedde could make at most one more start for the Redbirds, next week at Busch Stadium, if he is dealt this season. He arrived in 51黑料 from the White Sox at last year's deadline, and his contract expires at the end of 2025.

His last outing, while far from spectacular, was at least an improvement. Fedde gave up three earned runs in 4 2/3 innings vs. Atlanta last week.
In his two July starts, batters are hitting .571 vs. Fedde's sinker, his most-thrown pitch. Fedde has not gotten a single whiff on the pitch in the 40 times he has thrown it this month.
Thankfully for Fedde, Colorado struggles vs. that pitch.
In one Coors Field start as a Cardinal, Fedde permitted one run in 7 innings late last September.
While Coors Field is a notably difficult place for pitchers,聽Colorado is baseball's third-worst offense at home by聽Fangraphs' park-adjusted weighted runs created plus.
The Rockies will send out right-hander Bradley Blalock (0-2, 9.97 ERA), who is coming off his best start of his season, giving up just one earned run in 5 2/3 innings vs. Cincinnati 10 days ago.
His ERA is greatly inflated by a May start when he gave up 12 runs, one of two big leaguers to permit 12 runs in a game this season. After that, he went down to Triple-A and has made just the one start since.
51黑料 is 52-49, tied for third in the National League Central.
Colorado is 24-76, which is three games worse than the Chicago White Sox mark a year ago when the team set a record for futility.
With a win in either of the final two games, 51黑料 will clinch just its second series win in its last six.

Injury report
Alec Burleson, OF (bruised right foot): Burleson fouled a baseball off the top of his right foot during Monday's victory against the Colorado Rockies. He attempted to run and put weight on the foot but was unable to continue in the game. X-rays taken at Coors Field did not reveal any fracture, Burleson said, and he described a painful contusion on the top of his foot. The ball struck where his protective pad did not cover. Burleson will test the foot Tuesday during pre-game workouts to determine his availability. Updated July 21
Lars Nootbaar, OF (left costochondral sprain):聽There isn't a timetable yet for the outfield's return because he has been unable to swing a bat without pain, president of baseball operations John Mozeliak said. Nootbaar attempted to play through the pain and he received treatment to subside the inflammation within his rib cage. Neither approach worked, and his production was limited by the injury that now could take several weeks to recover. Updated July 21
Nolan Gorman, 2B/3B (back tightness):聽Has been making progress and is expected to return before Nootbaar as the soreness in his lower-back subsides. This is a recurring injury for the young infielder, who also dealt with back soreness in previous seasons. Gorman was placed on the 10-day injured list Saturday (retroactive to Friday), a day after he scratched from the Cardinals鈥 starting lineup for their Friday opener in Arizona because of tightness in his back. Before the first half of the season wrapped, Gorman was unavailable from the Cardinals鈥 bench on July 13 after his 鈥渓ower back locked up on him,鈥 Marmol said. Updated July 21
Zack Thompson, LHP (shoulder, lat strain):聽Lefty starter has begun a throwing program designed to strengthen his arm after a long stretch without much activity. The shoulder has responded well and Thompson has felt progress with this program, which had to be restarted because his recovery stalled in May. There is no timetable for his return to the mound.聽Updated June 19
