The Blues will open the 2025-26 season at home Oct. 9 against Minnesota, the league announced as it released the regular-season schedule Wednesday afternoon.
The date with the Wild kicks off the campaign as the Blues try to qualify for the postseason for the second straight season.

Blues goaltender Jordan Binnington salutes the fans after the Blues beat the Jets in Game 6 of the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs on Friday, May 2, 2025, at Enterprise Center.
Here are some other key dates.

Nov. 3 vs. Edmonton: The Blues take on two-time defending Western Conference champions for the first time Nov. 3 in 51ºÚÁÏ. Connor McDavid and company have beaten the Blues in three straight games and have at least one point vs. 51ºÚÁÏ in their last five games.

Dec. 4 at Boston: When Jim Montgomery was hired by the Blues in late November 2024, the Blues had already played the Bruins twice, preventing Montgomery from returning to Boston to face the franchise that fired him. He’ll get that chance Dec. 4.
The Bruins fired Montgomery after two-plus seasons when his team started the season 8-9-3. Overall in Boston, Montgomery had a 120-41-23 record, which included a historic 135-point season and a Jack Adams Award in 2022-23.
In 51ºÚÁÏ, Montgomery led the Blues to a 35-18-7 record (105-point pace across a full season) and they were the league’s best team after the 4 Nations Face-Off.
Jan. 3 vs. Montreal: Zack Bolduc will return to Enterprise Center for his lone visit to 51ºÚÁÏ, where he began his NHL career. Bolduc was traded to Montreal this summer in exchange for defenseman Logan Mailloux.
Last season, Bolduc scored 19 goals in 72 games, and the 2021 first-round pick became a fixture at the bumper position on the top power-play unit.

Blues defenseman Philip Broberg, right, shoves Jets defenseman Neal Pionk during a scrum in third-period action of Game 6 of their first-round Stanley Cup playoffs series Friday, May 2, 2025, at Enterprise Center.
Jan. 20 at Winnipeg: For the first time since their Game 7 collapse in the first round, the Blues will head north to face the Jets at Canadian Life Centre. The Blues pushed the Presidents’ Trophy winners to the edge of elimination in the spring, blowing a late two-goal lead in the third period before losing in double overtime.
The Jets tied the game with 2.2 seconds remaining in regulation (there were originally 1.6 seconds remaining, but time was later added), and won it when Adam Lowry scored with 3:50 left in the second overtime.
Jan. 29 vs. Florida: The two-time defending Stanley Cup champions will come to 51ºÚÁÏ, marking another homecoming for Panthers forward Matthew Tkachuk. The Blues have lost their last three games to Florida and have not beat them on home ice since Feb. 2023.
March 24 vs. Washington: In what could be Alex Ovechkin’s final trip to 51ºÚÁÏ, the Capitals come to town March 24. Ovechkin, the NHL’s all-time leading goal-scorer, is in the final year of his contract and will turn 40 in September.
In his career, Ovechkin has 21 goals in 28 games against the Blues. At .75 goals per game, it’s the fifth-highest rate for an opponent against the Blues with at least 20 games played.
March 28 vs. Toronto: Former Blues coach Craig Berube received a standing ovation in his return to 51ºÚÁÏ last fall when he was behind the Maple Leafs bench. The Blues faithful are unlikely to forget his contributions as the only coach to lead the franchise to a Stanley Cup.
Berube, fired in Dec. 2023, is third in franchise history in games coached, regular-season wins and postseason wins.
