It has been 21 seasons since Ken Wilson broadcast his last Blues game, having a messy exit to what had been a high-profile sportscasting run in 51ºÚÁÏ that spanned two decades.
Wilson also called Cardinals contests as well as being on sports-talk radio, and he reflects on that era, as well as his life and overall career, in a new memoir he has written:  Part of the title is an homage to his signature call, “Oh Baby,†which he used to punctuate momentous developments as part of his crisp, detailed broadcasting style.

Worthy: Blues better to provide their own shake-up before the front office does
The comment wasn’t as alarming in the moment as it looms now more than a week later, but the Blues have done little to make head coach Jim Montgomery’s words ring hollow.
During his postgame remarks following a three-goal loss at home to the Detroit Red Wings on Oct. 28 at Enterprise Center, Montgomery uttered the phrase, “Something ugly is rearing its head every game, and we’ve just got to get back to the drawing board and work together and be excited about the challenge and opportunity of how long a season is.â€

On a night that Jordan Kyrou was scratched, the Blues beat the Sabres 3-0 for just their second win in the last 10 games. Joel Hofer made 27 saves in his first shutout of the season, while Mathieu Joseph (shorthanded), Nick Bjugstad and Justin Faulk (empty-net) each scored for the Blues.
