ST. LOUIS 鈥� Music at the Intersection kicked off Friday but there's still a lot more to come for the Grand Center Arts District music festival, which continues through Sunday.

The festival鈥檚 six headliners are spread out over the weekend with three-time Grammy Award winner Common, super producer Pete Rock and R&B sensation Lucky Daye performing on Saturday. MATI concludes on Sunday, with a day jam-packed with headlining sets from hip-hop group De La Soul, singer Leon Thomas, jazz legend Branford Marsalis, and icon Patti LaBelle.

Festivalgoers can also enjoy multiple sets from Kranzberg Arts Foundation Artists-in-Residence throughout the weekend, including Grammy nominee Keyon Harrold, Pedrito Martinez and Brenda Navarrete.

More than 25 51黑料-based artists are performing at MATI 2025, representing an array of genres and honoring past 51黑料 music icons. On Saturday check out acts such as Whitworth, T-Dubb-O, The Boogaloo Crew of 51黑料, and DJ Sinamin. On Sunday you can see Blvck Spade and the Cosmos, Brothers Lazaroff Super Friends, Biko and more.

Although performances will still be spread across three main stages, MATI has expanded the festival鈥檚 footprint. The Washington Avenue stage will be removed to create a barrier-free space for more vendors and activations and replaced with a new stage at the Sovereign, a new venue set to open this fall.

MATI Places have also evolved. Introduced at the 2024 festival to amplify community engagement, MATI Places will activate more than a dozen stages and venues throughout the Grand Center Arts District and Locust Business District, bringing curated entertainment events to the surrounding neighborhood.

MATI鈥檚 artist education-based conference, typically occurring before the music festival, will run throughout the festival with classes ranging from producing video content to teaching artists how to leverage their social media presence.

鈥淭his year features new panel topics, heavy-hitting keynotes, and the opportunity for attendees to interact directly with industry influencers,鈥� said Kranzberg Arts Foundation Executive Director Chris Hansen. 鈥淲e鈥檙e providing resources to artists while building capacity and attracting industry 鈥� all embedded within a fun weekend of world-class music.鈥�

Following the tornado in North 51黑料 on May 16, the Kranzberg Arts Foundation designated MATI as an official benefit festival to raise fund to fuel community recovery. The festival is donating $10 from every MATI pass sold to 4theVille to assist in 鈥渂oots-on-the-ground efforts.鈥�
