A week after an intense win over archrival Kansas, the temperature on the field is turned down for Mizzou. 

Although the air temperature did force a change. On Thursday, the game was moved three hours earlier and will now begin at noon in a move to avoid the heat headed to Columbia.

The No. 25-ranked Tigers (2-0) welcome Louisiana on Saturday afternoon.

Penn State transfer quarterback Beau Pribula has led the Tigers so far, ranking 10th nationally in passing yards (308.5) and fourth in completion percentage (79.1%).

The University of Louisiana at Lafayette, or Louisiana as it prefers to be known, lost its opener to Rice 14-12 then bounced back with a 34-10 home win over McNeese State of the Football Championship Subdivision.

The Ragin' Cajuns were 10-4 a year ago and have averaged eight-plus wins per season over the last five seasons, among the best in the group of five. Louisiana went 6-0 on the road last season.

Louisiana ranks 24th nationally in rushing offense but has completed just 24 passes for 174 yards.

Mizzou, winners of 12 straight at home, is favored by about four touchdowns in the first-ever meeting between the two schools.
