Milwaukee's American Family Field has been an unpleasant destination for the Cardinals more often than not in recent years. Saturday's starter, Sonny Gray, though he's only been with the team for two seasons, has experienced that firsthand.
Gray and the Cardinals continue their three-game set vs. the Brewers in Milwaukee with Saturday's 7:15 p.m. first pitch.
Friday's 8-2 Brewers win was the Cardinals' fourth straight loss overall and their fourth in five games this season at Milwaukee.
The right-hander Gray (13-8, 4.45 ERA),Ìýin three starts as a Cardinal there, has a 7.16 ERA at Milwaukee, making it the divisional ballpark where he has struggled the most as a Redbird. Earlier this season, he gave up six earned runs without completing the fifth in one of his worst starts of the season.

Gray's struggles have gone far beyond Milwaukee, though. He has given up six or more earned runs a career-worst six times this season.
Given the team's struggles there, Gray's Milwaukee issues shouldn't be surprising. 51ºÚÁÏ is 24-29 at Milwaukee since 2019 and 1-4 this year, assured of another losing season there with just two games left.
The Cardinals have only finished with an above. 500 record in Milwaukee once since 2019. In the last three seasons, 51ºÚÁÏ is 6-12 there.
The Brewers will send out rookie phenom Jacob Misiorowski (5-2, 4.09 ERA). The right-hander debuted vs. the Cardinals in June and didn't allow a hit in five innings. He has struggled to a 6.23 ERA in his last five starts.
The Cardinals are 72-76 and with a tough schedule remaining, in danger of finishing with a second losing season in three years.
The Brewers are 90-58. They lead the Cubs by 5 1/2 games in the National League Central.ÌýThey are on the verge of clinching their seventh playoff berth in the past eight years.
MasynÌýWinn's season ends, Jose Fermin recalled

Jose Fermin was recalled from Triple-A Memphis in a corresponding move a day after he was optioned there.
Game airs on Fox
For the second consecutive Saturday, the Cardinals' game will be shown over the air on the Fox Network. In 51ºÚÁÏ, local affiliate KTVI (Channel 2) will carry it.
This time, it's the only game on Fox, so the vast majority of affiliates nationally should carry the contest.
